The Central Ohio Professional Education Council is a 501(c)3 community education non-profit organization. Thanks to COPEC’s educational outreach mission, all programs are at no cost to the public and without direct product or service sales. COPEC does not endorse any participating companies that support our mission. The COPEC Board of directors providing direction and financial support for COPEC outreach is provided by Golowin Legal, LLC, RS Tax & Accounting, Inc. and Retirement Strategies, Ltd., their members and staff thus are considered affiliated. Board leadership and volunteer speakers donate time and expertise without any expectation of business sales or financial gain as a result.
COPEC Financial Wellness Portal including the Daily Financial Wellness Webcast, Retirement Decisions Workshops, Financial Wellness Fridays Lecture Series as well as the complimentary 15-minute complimentary meeting resource are all hosted by and serviced through the generous support and donation of Retirement Strategies, Ltd. In the event additional business relationships were to develop between COPEC program attendees and COPEC Speakers whom may be affiliated, it is understood it to be above and beyond the free education services scope of the COPEC mission and was initiated by client or program attendee. These relationships established specifically with Retirement Strategies, Ltd if desired will require new contractual agreements clearly identifying the new business relationship and purpose. For those program attendees may in fact seek out additional advice it is understood and encouraged that they interview multiple Non-COPEC Advisory firms or financial advisors for their personal needs.
