Biography

Megan Amaya, PhD, is the Director of Health Promotion and Wellness at Ohio State. Previous to her current role at Ohio State, she worked as the wellness coordinator for the City of Dublin. Megan was an adjunct instructor at several Columbus area universities for several years, teaching students tools and skills for healthy behavior change. Megan currently serves as President for the Society of Public Health Educators Ohio Chapter, and steering team member for the central region Healthy Ohio Business Council. She is a certified health education specialist, a certified personal trainer and a certified group fitness instructor.
